Welcome to the first chapter of my 7-month series about what it takes to become an Olympian.
First of all, I’m not there yet, so this isn’t some mature advice series about how to excel to the pinnacle of your sport. Secondly, I may never get there, but this will give you an inside look at the grueling and glorifying moments of one athlete’s journey to the 2016 Olympic Games.
